The webbing was typically a single sheet or panel of leather laced between the thumb and first finger segment allowing the hand to clamp the glove closed in a clam-like manner. These old baseball gloves typically have a lot of fat finger padding and were comfortable to wear. Two fingers occupied one finger stall and depending upon the design the middle two fingers were placed in the middle finger stall or the last two fingers were placed in the last finger stall.  These are truly unique vintage baseball gloves with plenty of character!
